Survey #2: Land Use Update
The Envision Hillsborough team at Hillsborough Township is currently in the process of updating the Township's Land Use Element of the Master Plan and is seeking input from the community about how land is used in Hillsborough now and into the future.
This survey is a follow-up to the Fall 2024 Master Plan survey that asked about a wide variety of topics, including land use. Results from both surveys will be used to inform the Land Use Element of the Master Plan. Whether or not you completed Survey #1, your feedback here is invaluable.
You may wish to consider taking this survey on a computer for ease of entering information. This survey is brief, taking about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Relevant Definitions
- “Zoning” refers to municipal and state laws that regulate how land can and cannot be used in certain areas (zones) of an area
- “Districts” refer to specific areas (zones) of the Township that are designated for certain types of activity (i.e. residential is for homes, apartments, condos, etc.)
- “Land use” refers to the particular way a property is operated, utilized, developed, etc.
